We are seeking one or two individuals (please specify if you are able to some or all of the hours below) for the position of Work & Wellbeing Personal Assistant. The role requires:
· 11.5 hours per week, split across three mornings (9am–12:30pm)
· 6.5 hours per week, for one full day (10am–4.30pm)
Please note that term-time only applicants cannot be accommodated for these positions. You will receive annual leave, comprehensive training, and opportunities for further development. Fuel expenses will be reimbursed at a rate of 60p per mile. Both the individual’s work and home are in Stockton-on-Tees.
The role involves working between the individual's home and workplace in Stockton-on-Tees during office hours from Monday to Friday. It is essential to have your own vehicle with full insurance to transport an individual who uses a foldable powered wheelchair.
At the workplace, duties include assisting with transportation to and from meetings, taking notes, setting up meeting spaces, engaging with community groups, attending local events, and other tasks that support the individual in their work role within Adult Social Care. Additional responsibilities include personal care, preparing food and drinks, administering medication, and facilitating movement between home and work during work hours.
The role is part of a larger team providing home-based care and support. There may be opportunities for additional hours within the home rota to cover holidays or absences for Health & Home PAs.
Candidates should have an interest in adult social care, promoting independence, and supporting someone in leading a full life. Punctuality, reliability, and enthusiasm are essential. Required qualifications include completing Safeguarding Level 1 and 2, have care experience and holding a current driving license with having a fully insured and MOT-certified vehicle. Openness to training, development, and teamwork is necessary.
Be able to demonstrate you can use Microsoft Word, Email and good communication skills. The ability to work in a professional office-based work environment and conduct yourself in a professional way to support a person in their job role.
Desirable skills include using a laptop, administrative skills, note-taking, and experience supporting individuals in meetings or providing care and support in their homes or workplaces.
