I am looking for a kind, reliable person who enjoys cooking and would be willing to provide a small amount of weekend support for a woman living with ME, alongside preparing one batch of home-cooked meals each week.
The role includes visiting the client's home every Saturday and Sunday at 11:30am for approximately 30 minutes to provide light care and assistance, as well as preparing a batch of nutritious meals once a week. Meals can either be cooked in your own home and delivered, or prepared at the client's home if preferred.
Meals will need to be prepared according to specific dietary requirements, including dairy-free, wheat-free, and various other food allergies. They should be portioned for freezing and easy reheating.
A list of recipes and suitable ingredients can be provided, although someone who enjoys creating new meal ideas would be a real bonus.
What I'm Looking For:
- A kind, dependable and organised person.
- Someone who enjoys home cooking and preparing nutritious meals.
- Able to follow dietary requirements carefully
- A confident and creative cook.
- Available to attend the client's home every Saturday and Sunday at 11:30am.
- A full driving licence and access to a car would be beneficial.
Tasks May Include:
-Preparing one batch of freezer-friendly meals each week, such as soups, stews, casseroles, curries and similar dishes.
- Portioning and labelling meals.
- Suggesting and trying new recipe ideas.
- Providing light care and practical support during the weekend visits.
- Helping with small household tasks if required during the weekend visits.
Hours:
- Saturday: 11:30am (approximately 30 minutes
- Sunday: 11:30am (approximately 30 minutes)
- One cooking session per week, at a mutually convenient time.
Location:
Weekend visits will take place at the client's home in BS7. Cooking can either be completed in your own home and delivered, or at the client's home by agreement.
