Female Support Worker– Waking Night Worker PR3

2 x 12-Hour Shifts (Mon & Tues) | 9PM – 9AM Permanent | £16–£17/hour (DOE) + £2/hour Weekend Uplift

Join a warm, committed care team supporting a lovely young woman with complex health and learning needs in her family home, No experience needed as full training will be given. Please note: Due to the personal care requirements and the wishes of the dependent and her family, this role is open to female applicants only.

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Worker to provide 2:1 care for a client with an acquired brain injury and epilepsy. You'll be part of an experienced team delivering high-quality, person-centred support throughout the night. This is a permanent, part-time role, working 2 x 12-hour waking night shifts on Monday and Tuesday nights (9PM–9AM). You’ll work alongside another night support worker. Additional night hours may become available in the future, and there is also the opportunity to cover day shifts to support the wider team during annual leave or sickness absences, offering flexibility and extra hours for the right candidate.

You’ll be part of a supportive, friendly team committed to delivering excellent care. This role involves physical tasks including manual handling and night work, so physical fitness and emotional resilience are important. Due to the rural location, you must have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Working within a family home requires an awareness that your workplace is part of a private family environment. You are expected to demonstrate respect, discretion, and empathy at all times. You will also be working with family.
