About Me
I am a 38-year-old guy living in my own flat in Wetherby. I have cerebral palsy and use a wheelchair, but I lead a busy, active life. I am very sociable and love getting out and about.
My big passions are Leeds United (both watching games on TV and heading to Elland Road), comedy nights, and history/sci-fi. I also love true crime documentaries and hanging out with my friends. Creatively, I make my own air-dry clay pieces and am working on selling them online and at local markets!
I am looking for upbeat, motivated, and proactive Personal Assistants to join my support team. This is less of a traditional "care" role and more about companionship, motivation, and practical support to help me live life to the full. Because I have a few days available, I am looking to hire more than one person to share these shifts.
What the Role Involves
- Community & Socialising: Driving me to Leeds United matches, comedy gigs, social outings, and trips out to meet up with my friends.
- Creative Collaboration: Helping me make my air-dry clay pieces and assisting with the logistics of selling them (e.g., packing, setting up market stalls, or managing listings).
- Daily Living: Cooking healthy, tasty lunches and dinners.
- Home & Garden: Helping me clean, tidy, and maintain my flat and small garden area.
- Personal Care: Very minimal personal care is required.
- Support & Motivation: Keeping me encouraged, focused, and energised to achieve my goals.

- Proactive with a "can-do" attitude to help with both household tasks and my creative projects.
