Personal assistant / carer required to join the support team for a wheelchair user with a Spinal Cord Injury in Bolton.

Part-time temporary position July 2021. No experience necessary.

Are you able to cover some or all of these hours?

Mornings 9am to 10.30am to help with personal care and getting up. Also domestic tasks including cleaning and laundry.

Evenings 5pm to 6pm to help with personal care and going to bed.

Further hours may be available, one afternoon per week, for a suitable candidate with a full clean driving license, to help the client attend appointments.

You will need to be able to manage moving and handling tasks with the direction of the client, therefore you need to be physically fit, but you do not need experience in care nor moving and handling as training will be provided.

Standard rate of pay from £8.91 per hour, enhanced weekend rate from £9.66.
