Team of enthusiastic Personal Assistants required to provide support for a physically disabled gentleman in his mid-twenties in the Newton Aycliffe area.

He has a masters degree in music and has a big passion for all things music, including performing, songwriting and running a children's choir. He has also recently qualified as a primary school teacher and is hoping to receive help with getting to and from work. Overall, he is an outgoing person just trying to make the most out of life, he enjoys going to the cinema, going on road trips and attending music concerts/festivals, if you enjoy fun on the job this one is for you.

To start on a zero hour contract, with the possibility of eventually working on a more permanent basis of at least 6 hrs a week

Duties will sometimes include personal care, dressing, assistance with making food, transferring (hoist and banana board) but mainly support to access social activities and visit new exciting places.

The successful applicants will need to have a full UK driving licence and be willing and able to drive a manual wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Experience and training are not essential as training will be provided later on.

A DBS will be required, cost will be met by the employer.
