Support Worker required to support a 10 year old boy with autism who lives in Bishop Auckland.

We are looking for someone who can provide support to our son who has a diagnosis of autism and limited verbal communication skills, for between 5 and 10 hours per week during school holidays.

Hours /Wage
5 - 10 hours per week £13.50 per hour – school holidays only
Hours would mainly be worked on a Thursday if possible

Duties
We are looking for someone who can take our son out and about to social activities for one day a week during school holidays.

He enjoys bowling, soft play/park for shorter periods of time.

Initially a few hours would need to be arranged for you to get to know each other.

Additional Requirements/Information

Experience of working with children with autism would be required

Car driver with own car preferred

You may also be required to look after him in your own home on occasion

Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost
