Job description 
We are looking to employ a support worker required to support a 6 year old boy with kleefstra syndrome, a complex developmental disability and is non verbal who lives in the Durham area
 
Hours/rate
Hours are 8 hours per week (school holidays)

Current hourly rate is £13.50 per hour 


Duties
The main role of the support worker is to take the child out to do activities. 

He is a very happy and playful child who loves outdoor play but can become tired. He loves trips to the park, soft play and beamish museum. 

We are looking for someone who can provide a positive and safe environment for our son helping him stay content and active. 

Additional requirements 
Driver with own car essential. 

The role is paid through direct payments 

 Experience in dealing with children with autism or learning disabilities would be preferred.

 Enhances DBS will be required. This will be covered by the employer
