JOB PURPOSE: To provide support for a 16-year-old girl who has Diabetes Mellitus Type 1, Epilepsy, Microcephaly, Cortical Visual Impairment and Learning Difficulties.
LOCATION: Earsdon, near Morpeth in Northumberland
Main Duties
· Support to access age-appropriate community and leisure activities such as swimming, visiting the shops and having tea at a local restaurant.
· Administer Emergency Epilepsy Medication, full training will be provided.
· Support the young person to develop confidence and independence.
· Provide close supervision to maintain the young persons safety in all settings, as she has no danger awareness.
Hours
16 hours per 4 weeks, specific days/times to be discussed with interested applicants.
Rate of pay
£10.82 per hour. Holidays are 5.6 weeks per year, pro-rata.
Any out-of-pocket expenses will be met by employer.

Car driver essential and must have Business Insurance.
