Self-employed worker for Disabled Woman in Stoke Gifford
My client E has autism. They need support with accessing the community, (things like going to the Cinema, shopping, meals out, going to parks and stately homes and swimming).
E is creative and likes to do arts, crafts, and sewing. Likes to watch TV and cooking
Main Duties
To support with:
· Support with developing her confidence in the community.
· Support going to the Cinema and Meals out
· Support to going to Parks and Stately Homes
· Support to go Swimming
· Support with Shopping
· Support with Meal preparation and Cooking
Essential Criteria
· Experience of working with person with Autism.
· Female worker preferred due to the fact some personal care may be required.
· Non-smoker
· Must drive and have use of own vehicle.
Desirable criteria:
· Autism or learning disability awareness would be useful
Personal Qualities & Attributes Required
· Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.
· Excellent timekeeping.
· Some previous PA experience would be advantageous but not essential.
· Good communication and social skills.
· To respect confidentiality and privacy.
Location: Stoke Gifford, Bristol.
Hours: 12 hours per week – morning shifts (Mondays 4 hours, Tuesdays 4 hours and Saturdays 4 hours) – times to be agreed.
Pay: £15.00 Per Hour.
Start Date: ASAP.
Additional Information
· Appointment will be subject to a DBS check, funded by the employer.
· Employer lives at home with their family dog.
