Personal Care Assistant required for a 40 year old gentleman with Dravet Syndrome (rare form of uncontrolled epilepsy) He also has learning difficulties and behavioural issues. There is funding for 24/7 support. The position is for an average of 36 hours per week, covering various shifts including 'sleep-in' nights. Epilepsy training to include administration of Buccal Midazalam will be provded. A full clean driving license is required. A car for the purpose of attending acitivies/appointments is also provided. Pay is above National Minimum Wage working out at an average of £9.60 per hour.
A knowledge or intereast in music and/or motorbikes would be an advantage.
