Job Purpose To provide support for a lady with M.E and mobility issues
Location: Great Massingham, PE32
Details
I am a married woman with M.E. whose support needs vary according to the state of my health from day to day. I have limited mobility at home, and use a wheelchair when going out. My Current P.A. is leaving on the 6th November so i’m looking to take someone on for when current P.A leaves. I would like a friendly, understanding P.A. to work mom, tues, thurs and fri from 9-1 with the ability to occasionally cover wed 9-1 if required.
I need help with general domestic tasks, including meal prep, tidying, and running errands (shopping, collecting prescriptions), and I also need some help with personal care (showering, dressing etc) although my husband also helps with this. We have a friendly lazy dog called bella so my P.A. needs to like animals, I would like her to be let out into the garden but dog walking is not required.
Person specification
· Reliable and flexible
· Good communication skills
· Own car with relevant class of business use an advantage but not essential.
· Dog lover
· Because of personal care element I would prefer a female P.A.
Summary terms and conditions
· The rate of pay for this position is £16.28 per hr
· Hours and times of work: 16hrs weekly. Mon, tues, thurs Fri, 9-1 occasionally this may need to be flexible but would be pre arranged.
· You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
· Free Care Skills Training provided to employed staff
The post is subject to the following:
· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
