I am a 17-year-old young man living with my family in the Ashington area. I am looking for a support worker to come and help me access the local community once per week for about 3 hours.

I am mad about football, I play football, talk about football, watch European football and everything is about football. I would really like my support worker to share this interest as this will help me to get to know them and build rapport with them.

I love Newcastle United, other supporters need not apply 😊!

My family would like my support worker to help me:

Develop my independence
Learn some more in-depth life skills e.g. keeping safe when out and about, accessing public transport etc as I have limited risk awareness
Understand the world more and how I can live a full life

I love being out and about going for meals and generally being active.
The right support for me would be somebody who:

Can take a joke
Loves to have fun
Enjoys pranks – I do play pranks on people I am close to
Be able to help me with any worries or anxieties I may encounter

A full enhanced disclosure and barring certificate to support the children and adult work force will be required. Full Cost to be met by the employer.

You do not need to be a driver, but you must be able to get to Ashington and be willing to get out and about with me.
