Personal Assistant - Saturday Nights
£15.62 per hour | Burnley Area | Saturday Nights (8pm-8am)
Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can genuinely make a difference to somebody's life?
We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to join a small, friendly team supporting an active, independent woman with a spinal cord injury in her own home and community in the Burnley area.
This is a unique one-to-one support role that offers the opportunity to build a meaningful working relationship while helping someone maintain her independence, pursue her interests and enjoy life to the fullest. From supporting day-to-day routines at home to accompanying your employer on social outings and activities, you'll be helping her achieve her goals and enjoy the things that matter most to her.
Why Join Us?
No Experience? No Problem.
Previous care experience is welcome but is not essential.
We believe personal qualities are more important than previous experience, as full training will be provided. We can teach you the practical aspects of the role; what matters most is finding someone who is compassionate, dependable, adaptable and genuinely motivated to help another person live independently and enjoy an excellent quality of life.
Whether you are already working in care, looking for a change of career, returning to work, or simply looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
Training and Support
You will receive thorough training and support, including shadow shifts alongside experienced team members, so that you feel confident and fully supported before working independently.
Once trained, you will become part of a supportive team while working independently in a comfortable home environment. There will also be opportunities to pick up additional shifts covering annual leave and sickness.
About the Role
As well as providing support at home, you will occasionally accompany your employer to concerts, theatre trips, social events and other activities. This role therefore requires someone who is confident driving and happy to drive your employer's vehicle when required.
