Elderly couple in Ponteland area require a home care worker to support with all aspects of daily care. 

There are various hours available and employer can be flexible around times but hours will be required during the day, evenings and weekends. Enhanced rates available

Actual working days / hours subject to change but advised a month in advance and negotiable. We have full time live-in care in place and are looking for someone to assist our team of existing care workers.

Experience preferred of care work and working with Parkinsons/dementia care would be advantageous. 
Hours of work: Various 
Rates of Pay: £11.91 per hour (mileage and enhanced rates available depending on hours)             
                                            
Main Duties:
To support with washing, dressing, toileting and all other aspects of personal care.  Moving and Handling will be required when needed. Administration of medication, light housework and cooking would also be required Enabling support to access the local community required when appropriate.

Further Information:  An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS) will have to be obtained for the successful candidate (at employer’s expense).
Training: Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
