Personal Care Assistant for Lady - £9.50/hr in Liverpool 19 - 20/24 Hours per week - LIVERPOOL - L19

Lady in the L19 area is looking for 2 x  Personal Care Assistant's to support her to live independently within her own home. 

The available post is for 24 hours per week and the Lady would also like to recruit for a 2nd Personal Care Assistant to work on a casual basis. (To cover annual leave and any other absences). A job share for this position can also be considered and times of hours are negotiable. Applicants wishing to work less hours than the post advertised are welcome to apply.

Applicants must be hard working, reliable/flexible individuals who maintain a high level of hygiene standards throughout all working practices.

The available Hours/Days of Work required are: 24 hours per week. Employer has suggested working days/times of 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday which may suit individuals who may have Children of a school age. 4 hours will be required on a weekend for flexible use, however these can also be worked through the week if more suitable for candidate. These hours can be adjusted to suit applicants as employer is open to reasonable suggestions.

Lady has MS and is a wheelchair user/requires assistance with general daily tasks. Duties include:
All aspects of Personal Care/assistance with Toileting & transfer
Meal preparation/cooking 
Companionship 
Assistance with getting out into the community
May include some light cleaning duties and any other duties to assist with living independently 

The rate of pay is  £9.50/hour.
