Personal Care Assistant for a young man F/T @ £10/hr in Hartlepool TS25 - HARTLEPOOL - TS25

Full time (30+) personal assistant / carer – Seaton Carew

A vacancy has become available for a carer to work mainly day shifts, with occasional night shifts. The working hours are: 07:00 – 17:00/19:00 and nights are 19:00 – 07:00 (waking nights). You will be working as part of a close-knit team to support the client 2:1.

The role would involve working as part of a small team to support a client to live independently at home. The client has a brain injury and requires 24 hour 2:1 care. He is a young gentleman who appreciates a good sense of humour and loves having varied days.

Essential qualities for this role are to be personable; caring; reliable; have a good sense of humour; be proactive; positive; and must engage with the client.

Duties will include all aspects of care including personal care; administering medication and using a ceiling hoist. Experience is desirable however it is not essential as full training and shadow shifts will be provided.

A driver with a clean driving licence is advantageous as the client has his own bus to travel to places.

Start date for this role is expected to be as soon as notice period has been worked.
