We are seeking an experienced PA/Enabler to support a teenage boy who is non-verbal and autistic. This young man uses a VOCA to communicate but he is able to say simple words at times, to communicate. With an easy-going disposition, he is also able to let you know what he wants when he wants!

You will need to be vigilant and support to keep him safe as he has no danger awareness. Particular interests include trampolining, age-appropriate soft play, the beach, woodland walks or simply enjoying a treat in Costa Coffee watching the world go by. You will need to be physically fit, trustworthy, reliable, understanding and have knowledge of Autism and able to assist with some personal care, on occasions.

Hours can be flexible and include weekday and weekend hours, totaling 10 hours per week. You must have a clean driving licence and a vehicle insured for business use. Ideally, you could pick up from school and do an activity afterwards.
