Personal Care Assistant for a person P/T@ £11.91/hr in Blyth - FTE - £23.2k - Blyth - NE24

We are looking for a committed care worker to provide support for a gentleman in the Blyth area to allow him to remain living within his family home. The gentleman currently lives with his family and the support is to allow them a break during the day. 

The gentleman has reduced mobility in both his left and right sides following a stroke and a later fall. He requires support with all aspects of his daily routine including personal care, toileting and nutrition.   

The ideal applicant will be an experienced care assistant and able to hit the ground running with the support of the client's immediate family. A calm, proactive individual with the ability to work on their own initiative would be preferred.  

Rate of Pay: £11.91 per hour 

Hours Breakdown:
·  Hours can be discussed in full at interview however it is anticipated it will be for two/three days per week including some weekend work 
·        Approximately 4 hours per day 
·        Annual Leave is 5.6 weeks pro rata per year 
·        Out of pocket expenses to be paid by the employer  

Full training including medication administration, moving and handling will be provided via Northumberland County Council and the clients' current care support assistants.
