Personal Care Assistant for a lady P/T @ £13/hr in Liverpool, Maghull 10 hours per week - LIVERPOOL - L31

My mother is Maureen, she lives on her own in a house in Maghull, Liverpool.  She has severe Parkinson's Disease and associated demetia but is adament to keep what's left of her independence.  Mum is housebound and suffers from varing levels of anxiety.  She currently has private carers who see to her needs for 5 hours per day, ensuring she receives her medication at 8am, 12pm, 4pm and 8pm, preparing meals and personal care. Mum has limited mobility and uses a stand aid.  She can sometimes be encouraged to use her zimmer frame and move around the house with support or venture out in her wheelchair but this will all depend on her anxiety levels for the day. 

Her caring hours require split shifts and therefore will require someone attending four times a day at the stated times above for rouhghly an hour.

We are currently looking for a carer to cover mum's hours on a Friday and Saturday (ten hours) and cover holidays and other days during the year. There maybe a possibility of mums current carer reducing her hours in the near future and therfore more hours may become available.
