Personal Care Assistant for a gentleman 35 hr/wk@ £16.50/hr in Liverpool - FTE - £32.2k - LIVERPOOL - L1

Female personal assistant/carer wanted for a full-time home care role in central Liverpool with disabled man. Applications are welcome from both experienced health care professionals and motivated newcomers to healthcare. The role involves both personal care and assistance within and outside of the home. Full-time and part-time carers are needed. 

To give a little detail about myself, I am 46 years old, and I've been living with a spinal injury for just over 20 years. I live in the city centre in a pretty large flat in a converted warehouse with my wife, who works most days, and I mainly need help while she's at work.

I generally start the day at approximately 8 am, and the morning routine to get me washed, dressed, and out of bed for breakfast takes about 3 hours, usually. After that, I just need help mostly with daily activities, e.g., if I'm going out, I'll need a little bit of help getting around in my wheelchair and assistance around the home with various things if I'm staying in.

I am pretty mobile and independent once I am in my wheelchair but don't have the use of my fingers, and this is the main reason I need help e.g., with cooking and preparing food and drinks, or the other little things in life that are easier when you can use your fingers!

I recently stopped working full time, and I'm looking to begin working again, probably online, as I used to be a language teacher or possibly meeting people in person, during the days, either working from home or in cafes, etc. I will need a bit of support while doing this. Ideally, also, I'd be looking for someone that can help me when I travel overseas, which I do a fair bit of each year.
