Personal Care Assistant - Preston PR26
Hourly rate: £10 to £11 per hour + Company pension and 5.6 weeks holiday
Hours: shifts from 8am to 9pm across 7 days
Full and Part time hours
Training provided
DBS paid for by the company.
Paid four weekly - approx. £1,516.67 gross
We will also be recruiting a Senior PA on £11.00 this can be discussed at interview stage.
Driver is preferable

We are looking for Personal Assistants (PA’s) to work with a lady with MND (Motor Neurone Disease) who lives independently at home with her husband.
You will provide all personal care tasks, including shower, catheter care, supporting to use the toilet.
As well as medication administration via a PEG, hoisting, and driving a mobility vehicle.
Some of the shifts will be 2:1 and this will give the more flexibility around personal care.
The role will be varied, sometimes the day will be about good conversation, friendship, and spending time at home. Other days will be about getting out and about locally, to enjoy social activities or appointments.
Every day is about giving caring, friendly support
The right person:
Experience in MND , hoisting and medication administration would be an advantage
It is not essential that you have experience in care but you must have common sense, be flexible, enthusiastic and willing to learn! You will receive full training in all aspects of caring. The main thing is that you have a naturally friendly and caring nature.
The Hours:
Work patterns are well planned with full and part-time hours available. They will be worked over a 7 day period covering the weekends.
You will work as part of a team and are willing to pick up additional hours and be flexible to cover holiday and times of sickness.
