🌟 Personal Assistant Wanted – Fun, Active Support for a Young Girl
£14.67 per hour | 4 hours per week | School holidays only
We’re looking for a fun, caring and energetic Personal Assistant to spend time with a happy and engaging 5-year-old girl with autism. She loves sensory activities, bouncing on the trampoline, visiting the aquarium and exploring new places.
As she is non-verbal and has limited awareness of danger, she needs close supervision when out and about. You’ll support her to enjoy fun, stimulating activities in the community, while helping to keep her safe and build her confidence and independence. Some personal care support will also be required.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Fun, enthusiastic and engaging
- Patient, caring and reliable
- Active and able to keep up with an energetic child
- Confident supporting safety when out in the community
- Understanding of autism and sensory needs
- Experienced in supporting children with additional needs
Hours: 4 hours per week during the school holidays, ideally as one 4-hour weekday session for approximately 13 weeks of the year.
This is a lovely opportunity to build a positive relationship with a young girl and help her explore, have fun and enjoy new experiences.
Successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
