Personal Assistant Wanted – Make a Real Difference
📍 Location: Local community
⏰ Hours: 37 hours per week (rota-based)
👩 Female applicants only (due to role requirements)

We are looking for nice, friendly, and well-mannered support staff to help a lovely lady begin an exciting new chapter, living independently in her own home for the very first time 🏡
This is a time of mixed emotions for both her and her family 💭💙, so we are looking for someone special to help make this transition positive, comfortable, and empowering.
You will be supporting a chatty, outgoing, and sociable lady 😊 who uses a wheelchair and has a Learning Disability (she presents younger than her years), Cerebral Palsy, and Hiatus Hernia. Clear spoken English 🗣️ is essential to help her communicate confidently and feel fully understood.
Your role will include supporting all aspects of daily living, including:
- Personal care (washing 🚿, dressing 👗, toileting)
- Supporting hydration 💧 and meal preparation 🍽️
- Administering medication 💊
- Moving and handling (full training provided ✅)
- Light household tasks 🧹
- Sleep-in overnight shifts 🌙 (not waking nights)
She enjoys a variety of activities including:
- Watching TV 📺 and trips to the cinema 🎬 (especially feel-good films like Bridget Jones 💕)
- Walks along the pier 🌊
- Taking photographs 📸
- Getting out and about, people-watching and enjoying a bite to eat 🍰
- Swimming 🏊
