Hours Per Week: 10 hours (8 Hours during the week, 2 hours at the weekend) Weekend hours optional
Hourly rate: £13.23 p/h Monday to Friday, £16.54 p/h weekends
My profile
I enjoy playing football as well as watching it at home or at a pub. I also enjoy playing card and board games, both at home and at board game events. I have one cat, but she can be in another room if needed.
I have struggled with my mental health for a while, but it is stable. I also enjoy going to coffeeshops and socialising with others over a cup of coffee or tea. I also enjoy writing stories and have written a few.
I like to be accompanied to visit different places.
I don’t like very long walks.
I like going to community groups.
I like history, museums, politics and the theatre.
I like playing pool.
I am interested in indoor climbing walls.
I am interested in learning how to cook.
I am interested in building independence and confidence.
I like video games.
I am not great with loud busy places.
I need someone to help advocate for me.
What are the duties?
· Support to source and access interest and hobbies
· Support in accessing the community for fun activities, including any groups I am interested in
· Support making/meeting new friends
· Support with building confidence and independence
· Possible support with cooking skills
Requirements
· An understanding of and previous experience with people with mental health.
· Flexibility towards planned activities
· Full Clean Driving licence
· A full DBS Check will be required. Any relevant experience will be considered if the skills can be applied to this role.
