Personal Assistant required for Maternity cover to support and young gentlemen with multiple Learning Disabilities in the Chester le Street area.  

 

24 hours per week @ £9.25 3.30 pm to 9.30 pm Monday to Thursday, 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm Fridays to commence 17th March 2021.

 

The Personal Assistant would be required to provide personal care as well as support him to access social activities.  

The carer would be required to have a caring, patient and friendly disposition. 
 
The Personal Assistant would also need to be prepared to work as a team with other employees with the possibility of providing holiday cover on occasions.  

Experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities would be preferred, however training would be provided.  

 

A DBS would be required, however, this will be paid for by the employer.
