Personal Assistant required for a young lady in NR3, 6 hrs P/W @ £12.89 P/H - Norwich - NR3

Job Reference (473ec37e)

We are looking for a kind, patient and friendly personal assistant to support our 25-year-old daughter, who has autism. She is happy, bubbly, energetic and fun-loving. She loves animals, especially dogs, and enjoys shopping, coffee shops, music and getting out and about. She can feel anxious around unfamiliar people and busy places, so it is important that you are calm, patient and not pushy. She may need time to get to know you, but once she feels comfortable, she really enjoys company.

About the role

The main purpose of the role is to support her to get out into the community, enjoy activities and develop her confidence and independence. You will spend time with her on a one-to-one basis and support her to do things she enjoys. Some days may be busier than others, so the hours can be flexible. There may be times when activities finish earlier, while on other occasions things may take a little longer.
