Personal Assistant (PA)-Part-time Supporting a Male with Spinal cord injury DL16 6AL e - Spennymoor - DL16

We are looking for reliable, compassionate individual to support an adult male to meet his daily care, support needs, and to live as independently as possible. 
About the Role 
You will be part of a small team working in pairs providing support in the employers home and out in community. 
Support will be person-centred and focused on maintaining dignity, choice, independence. 
Duties may include 
Personal care, Including washing, dressing, and toileting.
Assistance with mobility and transfers (training provided)
Support with hydration (possibly medication as required)
Domestic tasks to clean wet room, sleeping area, bed making, assist with laundry. 
Support employer and his wife in social activities,appointments, community access. 
Providing companionship and promoting independence to employer and his wife. 
Hours and Pay 
Permanent,/part-time self employed role .
Hours flexible depending on your availability to do some calls. 
Morning 8.15-10.15am seven days a week .
Evening 21.30-22.15pm seven days a week (paid as full hour)
Excercise call 17.00-18.00 Mon-Fri 
Additional social time may be available to meet employers activities. 
Pay
Starting at £15.00 rising to £ 16.50 per hour after two months satisfactory probation period.
