Personal assistant LS17 - 4 hours per week plus 2 in school holidays - Leeds - LS8

To support a 9 year old boy with autism and fragile X.  He is full of vitality and the person supporting him will need to be very fit.  Personal care will be involved in the role.  Training will be offered by the council and 5.6 weeks annual leave pro-rata is offered.

He is a joyful happy child with a lovely smile and when engrossed in a task that he enjoys such as water play and playing with sand is happy and content.

He enjoys visiting the park and loves the swings and playing football.  He is non-verbal and uses pecs at school.  He is very gregarious and the support worker will need to be mindful that he is very fast and a watchful eye will be needed.

DBS will be completed prior to starting the role and two references taken up as well as a right to work check completed.
