I am looking for a compassionate personal assistant to support me with daily activities. I am a middle-aged lady with multiple sclerosis and other medical conditions seeking a personal assistant of a similar age. This role involves helping me access the community, assisting with daily life activities and fostering an environment that promotes independence.

Job Description:
Assisting with hair washing and drying (no body care assistance required)
Assist with general housekeeping/Domestic tasks.
Meal preparation and kitchen tasks
Escorting to appointments (doctor, dentist, hairdresser, shopping)
Any other reasonable duties as requested.
Person specification
Essential:
A valid driving license (use of employer's car provided for appointments)
The ideal candidate would require calming, reassuring, caring and patience.
The person I employ, must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work, including total respect for my privacy.
Desirable:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual's needs.
Summary terms and conditions
The pay rate for this position is £13.83 per hour for employed PAs and £16.69 per hour for self-employed PAs.
Hours and times of work: 12 hours per week. Time discussed further at interview.
This role is for 3 days a week, 4 hours per day—preferably on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (times and days negotiable).
The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.

Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.
Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
