I am a disabled woman in my late 30s. I require help around the house and in accessing the community. I am offering up to 7.5 hours per week, typically across one or two mornings, with days and times to be agreed. Some flexibility will be required to provide occasional cover during sickness or annual leave.
About the Role
You will provide practical support to help maintain independence and wellbeing. Duties may include:
- Preparing or heating meals
- Accompanying to appointments and community activities
- Light housework
- Light gardening
- Supporting medication routines
- Providing encouragement and practical day-to-day support
- Occasionally assisting with dressing
No previous experience is necessary, as the right personal qualities are the most important.

Summary Terms and Conditions
- The rate of pay for this position is £12.89 per hour
- Hours and times of work as follows: up to 7.5 hours per week, preferably mornings.
- The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
- Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers.
The post is subject to the following:
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
