My client J has a physical impairment.
J is originally from Spain and speaks Spanish, Portuguese and French. He also understands Italian, English is more limited.
J has lots of interests, including finding official documents with the Government and Council etc.
Main Duties
To support with:
- Support with shopping
- Support with laundry and household tasks
- Support accessing the community
- Support with accessing appointments
- Support re-ordering medication
Essential Criteria
- Non-smoker
- Must have use of own vehicle.
- Phone use prohibited during working hours – apart from for emergencies
Desirable criteria:
- Experience of working as a personal assistant
Personal Qualities & Attributes Required
· Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.
· Excellent timekeeping – start times must be respected.
· Good communication and social skills.
· To respect confidentiality and privacy
Location: FISHPONDS, Bristol
Hours: 16 hours per week. Monday 4 hours {11:30 – 15:30}, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 3 hours per week {10:00 – 13:00}
Pay: £13.20 Per Hour.
Holiday: 5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time).
Start Date: ASAP.
