Personal Assistant for a young woman 16hrs pw @ £12.89/hr in King's Lynn - FTE - £25.1k - King's Lynn - PE30
Job Reference (4fb0b476)
I am a 26-year-old ambulatory wheelchair user looking for a Personal Assistant to support me with day-to-day living and help me maintain my independence at home.
Due to a progressive health condition, I now require support with a wide range of daily tasks. I am physically quite fragile and need someone who is patient, understanding and able to work at my pace, particularly on more challenging days. The role is varied and includes personal care, medication support, household tasks and assisting me to access the community.
I live with my husband, two dogs and a cat. One of my dogs is my working assistance dog, a large Belgian Shepherd, who may occasionally require help getting ready for outings by having her harness, boots and other working equipment fitted.
When my health allows, I run a small home-based business creating vests and bandanas for pet and working dogs.
Maintaining as much independence as possible is very important to me, and I am looking for a Personal Assistant who can provide reliable support while helping me continue to live life on my terms.
The right person is more important to me than formal qualifications. I am looking for someone who is kind, patient, understanding and a good fit for my household.
