Personal Assistant for a young person P/T@ £17.15/hr in Weston-super-mare - FTE - £33.4k - Weston-Super-Mare - BS24

I am looking to recruit a Direct Payment Personal Assistant for my 9 year old son.

 

6  hours every week term time and 18 hours per week during the holidays.

 

 

This person has a diagnosis of ADHD, speech and language delay, hypermobile joints and a cerebro visual impairment. He takes medication for his seizures.

 

This person is a very sociable boy who loves music, dancing, doing puzzles, swimming, going for walks and exploring new environments. He is very active and has lots of energy and enjoys going out with his carer.

 

He is entirely dependent on adults, including requiring an adult to facilitate his interaction with, and involvement with learning tasks and the world in general. He has moderate vision loss and is constantly on the move. He has no awareness of danger and no spatial awareness.

 

This person needs someone who has experience working with children who have disabilities.
