I am looking for a caring, patient, and reliable Personal Assistant to support my 19-year-old son, who has Autism and complex needs.

About My Son
My son is 19 years old and has Autism with complex support needs. He requires support with daily living activities and requires support with personal care, as well as ongoing supervision to ensure his safety and wellbeing.
He is a friendly young man who enjoys spending time at home and currently only goes out regularly to attend college. He has a real passion for Lego, Marvel, and Arcane, and these interests play an important role in how he communicates and connects with others. Having someone who can share these interests with him will help build a positive and trusting relationship. Support will mainly take place in our family home, providing companionship and engaging my son in activities that he enjoys

Job Description
Provide companionship and meaningful one-to-one support.
Engage my son in activities based around his interests, particularly Lego, Marvel, and Arcane.
Support with personal care when required.
Ensure his safety and wellbeing at all times.
Build a trusting, consistent, and supportive relationship.
Work respectfully within the family home while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Occasional support to get out into the community
Any other reasonable duties as requested.
Person specification
Essential:
Comfortable supporting with personal care.
A full UK driving license holder and has access to their own vehicle due to our rural location.
Someone with patience, compassion, and a positive attitude
The person I employ must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work, including total respect for our privacy.
Desirable:
Having similar interests
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual's needs.
Summary of terms and conditions
The pay rate for this position is £12.89 per hour for employed PAs and £15.55 per hour for self-employed PAs.
Hours and times of work: 02 hours per week. Time discussed further at interview.
The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
The post is subject to the following:
A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.
Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
