Personal Assistant for a person P/T 3 hrs pw @ £12.89/hr in Great Yarmouth - FTE - £25.1k - Great Yarmouth - NR31
Job Reference (166cbb5c)
I am looking for a Personal Assistant who will respect me, understand my condition and provide support in a sensitive and non-judgemental way.
Duties
- Personal care and hygiene when I am unable to manage this independently. It is important that my PA is respectful and does not make me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed about needing help.
- Preparing meals, particularly a warm breakfast and lunch when I am unable to cook for myself. Where possible, I would also appreciate help preparing something that can be eaten later in the day.
- Small amounts of shopping when I am unable to manage this myself.
- Attending medical appointments, including accompanying and supporting me when going to the doctor or hospital when needed.
- Keeping my home clean, tidy and comfortable, including light household tasks and changing my bed linen when I am unable to do this myself.
- Cold weather and periods of heavy rain can make things particularly difficult for me and may increase the amount of support I need.
Being unable to manage everyday household tasks, particularly things such as changing my bed linen when needed, can also have a significant impact on my mood and emotional wellbeing.
