Personal Assistant – Minimum of 16 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Hourly rate £10.50 plus mileage allowance
Due to the nature of this role involving personal care, we can only accept female candidates for this role
An opportunity has arisen to join an existing team providing support to a lady living in the Eaglescliffe area. Our client lives in her own home, with her adult son and dog.
This post would suit a motivated person, with a flexible attitude to work and experience with managing chronic health conditions. Our client’s needs fluctuate from day to day, so an understanding and empathetic approach to support and care is required. The successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of IT, as the majority of the role involves the use of a computer.
Main Duties to include :
Support to attend hospital appointments in the Middlesbrough area
Support with shopping trips and accessing the community
Support with day to day domestic tasks, such as laundry & meal preparation
Support with management of the household – this would include support to open post, check emails, answer the door to callers, answer the phone when required.
Liaising with medical professionals (GP / Pharmacy / District Nurse) and ensuring prescriptions and medical equipment is ordered and received on time.
Occasional support with personal care, as and when required
Support to ensure the health and well-being of the family dog.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate. The cost of this will be met by the employer.
Driver’s licence and own transport essential.
