Personal Assistant for 18 year old man for 13 hours p/w @ £9.50/hr in Bishopston - BRISTOL - BS7

PA required for lively, sociable and outgoing 17-year-old (soon to be 18) young man with learning disabilities in Bishopston.
Main duties:
Ø Support with accessing the community and increasing independence e.g. eating out, visiting museums and other fun activities of the young person’s choice.
Essential Requirements:
Ø Able to provide references.
Ø DBS Check.
Ø Clean UK driving license and own car.
Personal Qualities and Attributes:
Ø Ability to act in an understanding, patient, trustworthy, calm and non-judgmental manner.
Ø Have a confident, fun, enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
Ø Experience of working with young people with learning difficulties.
Ø Ability to support young person with maintaining expectations and boundaries.
Ø Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to use them where required.
Rate of Pay: £9.50 per hour
Hours: 13 hours per week (1-2 early evenings per week and at weekends/school holidays)
