Personal assistant / carer required to join the support team for a wheelchair user with a Spinal Cord Injury in Bolton.
Part-time permanent position. No experience necessary.
Are you looking for a few extra hours work? Are you practical, organised and reliable? Can you cover all or some of the following hours?
Evenings for one hour each night to help with all aspects of personal care and going to bed.
Sunday mornings for one and a half hours to help with all aspects of personal care including washing and dressing and getting up. Also domestic tasks, cleaning and laundry where needed.
Further hours may be available, one afternoon per week, for a suitable candidate with a full clean driving license, to help the client attend appointments and for social outings or to help with tasks at home.
You will need to be able to manage moving and handling tasks with the direction of the client, therefore you need to be physically fit, but you do not need experience as training will be provided.
Standard rate of pay from £8.72 per hour, enhanced weekend rate from £9.46.
5.6 weeks holiday per year pro rata, Bank Holidays being treated as a normal working day with the enhanced rate payable.
