Job Purpose:
I am a wheelchair user and need several PAs for job share. Tasks would include hoisting (I cannot weight bear), support with personal care, toileting, washing and clothing. Care is needed 7 days a week. I would also like to have someone to chat to while they complete the tasks to provide me with social stimulation.

Essential:
Female carer (Schedule 9, P1 of the Equality Act 2010 applies).
Experience with using a hoist.
First Aid knowledge.
Caring and empathetic.
Consistent and reliable.
Well organised and calm.
Good communication skills.
Summary terms and conditions:
· The rate of pay for this position is £12.89 per hour.
· Hours and times of work: 20 hours per week in total, worked Monday-Sunday, suitable for at least 4 job share PAs. I will need double up care in the morning for one hour, 1:1 care for the rest of the hours. Morning to start 09:00, lunch between 12:00-13:00 and teatime 17:00-18:00. Exact timing and shifts will be discussed at the interview.
· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
· This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Moving and Handling, Personal Care.
Post is subject to the following:
· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
