This job could be shared between two people ie am and pm
To support a lady with kidney disease with her parental role who receives dialysis  Mon/Wed/Fri to take her son to school therefore hours would  7.45am - 10.45am on the days she attends dialysis. You would prompt her son to get dressed and have breakfast and get ready for schoo then accompany him to school.  The person covering the afternoon shift would work 3pm until 7.30pm they would need to start their shift in term time at her son's school.  You will need to cook nutritious meals and clean the home.  Also shop, wash clothes and accompany the lady on outings.  The lady due to her condition becomes very fatigued. You would support her to get dressed  on days when she is fatigued.  You would drop her son at school am or pm.  The lady likes to eat out and is hoping post covid-19 to get back to the gym. There will be a risk assessment completed prior to starting the role and PPE equipment will be provided including masks and hand sanitizer.  You will need to wear a mask when in the ladies home.  Hand washing and hygiene within the home is very important..  The ladies illness can be impacted by lack of cleanliness due to  her low immune system.
