Job Purpose
To provide support for a young man with a variety of learning disabilities.
Location: Gorleston-on-Sea, NR31
Details
I am a young man (18) who has ASD and ADHD. I live with my family, a dog and 2 cats. I would like some additional support with activities such as keeping my environment tidy and socialising, initially this will be at home but potentially gaining confidence to go out.
I am talkative and enjoy anything to do with motor vehicles. I love to spot vehicles on walks but may not always feel confident to do this. I love listening to music, watching Coronation Street, Police Interceptor programs and playing Uno.
My PA needs to be patient and aware that due to my health issues I like people to keep their distance and explain their actions, as I can lash out when feeling anxious. I will take time to warm up to new people , it’s important to me that I can take things at my own pace.
