PA required to support male aged 8 who lives in Ushaw Moor who has autism, learning difficulties and is none verbal.
The assistant will be required to support on a 2:1 basis to enable the child to access the local community and activities linked to the child’s interests.
The assistant will also be responsible for the child’s intimate care needs.
Hours / wage
5 hours per week term time
10 hours per week school holidays
£12.71 per hour
The child enjoys being outdoors especially long walks in the countryside and enjoys driving in the car too.
A positive, caring attitude is essential.
Training can be provided.
Experience of working with special needs is desirable and would be preferred.
Access to a car is desirable and a clean driving licence is preferred.
Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost.
