Job Purpose: Personal Assistant needed to support a young girl during school holidays only.
I am a nine-year-old child who loves to go swimming and enjoys any form of messy play. I have limited communication skills but can communicate my basic needs.
I can become very dysregulated at times and may hit out especially if I am in an environment where there are other children that are behaving loudly.
I am a happy child who loves to be kept busy and get on with almost anyone.
Location: Norwich, NR2
Details: Support during school holidays only for play and activities in and out of the home.
- Providing safe 1:1 supervision and support.
- Taking the child to local activities, parks, and other suitable outings.
- Supporting and encouraging child’s communication and independence.
- Supporting with meals, snacks and drinks where required.
- Engaging positively through play and activities.
- Following routines and instructions provided by parent.
- Maintaining safety and wellbeing.
- Arriving punctually for agreed sessions and giving as much notice as possible if unable to attend.

Summary terms and conditions:
· The rate of pay for this position is £12.89 per hour
· Hours and times of work: 8 hours per week during school holidays, days and times will be discussed during the interview.
· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
· This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Autism.
Post is subject to the following:
· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
