PA required for 8.5 hours a week - Emersons Green area - Bristol - BS16

I am a 38-year-old male living in the Emersons Green area of Bristol, looking for a PA to help me to live independently and support me at the gym and physio when I’m strong enough.

Having a driving licence isn’t essential as I have use of my own vehicle in which I can fit my electric scooter in the boot.  As my scooter is electric, I do not need support with being pushed or manual handling in that respect.
 
 

The successful candidates’ main tasks will be to:

·       Domestic/laundry

·       Cleaning

·       Community access

·       Shopping

·       Meal preparation

·       Cooking

·       Accompanying me to collect medication/prescriptions. 

·       Supporting with day-to-day business matters (e.g., electricity and gas suppliers)

·       The ability to support me with transferring from wheelchair. (I can take several steps, but might need support at times) 

·       Sometimes I’ll need assistance with button clothing as I only have the use of one arm/hand.

·       Personal care – I require some assistance applying cream to my back.

 

·        Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. 

·        Excellent timekeeping. 

·        Good communication and social skills. 

·        To respect confidentiality and privacy. 

 

Location: Emersons Green, Bristol. 

 

Hours:  8.5 hours per week spread over two afternoons – either on Monday, Wednesday or Fridays

Pay: £11.88 per hour, paid through PAYE scheme.

Holiday:  5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time). 

Start Date:  ASAP.
