Can you spare 6 hours a week on a weekday (3 hours evening) and weekend (3 hours) to support Roeg (male age 12) to access activities within his community?
A PA is required in the Leeds LS11 area to support Roeg who is fun and energetic. He has a diagnosis of Autism, social and communication difficulties. He likes to do fun activities. Roeg has a Carers Card for a carer to accompany him.
Roeg requires a PA for a total of 6 hours a week which will be worked flexibly on weekend/weekday. The working days can be flexible, however, Roeg likes to have a routine and therefore punctuality and stability are essential in this role. Experience working with children and young people is important for Roeg.
Main duties
· Support to source and access interest and hobbies outside the home environment for example trips to cinema, climbing centre and trampoline centre.
· Support with developing Roeg social and commutation skills (monetary transactions)
· Supporting the learning of new skills
· No personal care however supervision is required
· Basic knowledge, experience and support strategies of SEN is essential.

· DBS check and two satisfactory references to be carried by Leeds CIL
Rate of pay
£9.90 per hour
Holiday Entitlement
You will be entitled to 5.6 weeks each year pro-rata. You will be required to give at least two weeks' notice for any holiday required so that alternative arrangements can be made.
