Family looking for reliable PA/carer to help fun loving 8-year-old access after-school and holiday social activities
We are looking for an easy going and reliable carer / PA to look after and help our daughter access community social activities two days a week after school in term time, and during holidays.
Our daughter is very sociable and loves to play but just needs help to do so with her disabilities!
She goes to Brownies, loves music, crafts, the outdoors, her friends on the street and her dog!
Hours are 3.30 – 6pm 2 days a week during term time - we are flexible on which 2 days but would prefer the same days each week if possible and could offer addition hours if required. You must be available to greet our daughter from the school bus from 3.30 at our home in Meanwood (LS6).
There are additional hours available during term time and school holidays.
All hours including training hours will be paid.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience working with children with additional needs, for example requiring assistance with mobility, communication, feeding, delayed development.
Carer must be able – or willing to be trained – to take care of our daughter’s personal care – specifically gastrostomy feeding, hoisting and changing pads.
