Can you spare 4 hours per week?
Meet Abbas:
I am a happy 17-year-old boy. I enjoy going bowling, to the cinema, meeting friends and going to the park. I live in the South of Leeds with good access to the city centre and surrounding areas.
You will:
· Support Abbas when out in the community with accessing all the activities he enjoys.
· Discuss other activity ideas with parents to broaden Abbas’ experiences.
· Support Abbas to develop his social and life skills.
· Support his independence in the community and understanding of how to keep himself safe.
Extra Information:
Parents would like these hours to be used on the weekends and during the school holidays. They are happy to be flexible with what days and hours the PA would like to do in those time frames.
I am verbal and am able to communicate my wants and needs. I find it difficult to speak up for myself and am agreeable to most things. I will need support to make my wishes and feelings known.
I have limited awareness of stranger danger and relationships and see people as friendly very easily. Please try and support me with this.
Car driver is preferable.
I am looking for a PA who is warm, kind and punctual. A PA who can support me to develop my independence and support me to make my own choices. A PA who can advocate on my behalf if needed and be a safe person for me to speak to.
