To provide support and promote confidence for young woman with healthcare needs

Job Details
 This role requires a reliable, compassionate, and patient individual to provide additional support with everyday activities. I have learning disabilities and health issues including ADHD, autism and epilepsy. My PA’s tasks will include helping to wash hair, select clothing that is comfortable and appropriate for weather, keeping my home tidy and safe and supporting me to look after pets. It would also be useful for the PA to have a little digital knowledge to be able to support me with social media, and they should be able to encourage me to remain independent and build confidence.. Experience of working with persons with similar conditions to me would be an advantage.

Summary terms and conditions
·      The rate of pay for this position is £12.89 per hour
·      Hours of work: 10 hours weekly on a flexible basis 
·      5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays
·      Free training as appropriate for role
 
The post is subject to the following:
·      A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
·      Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
