PA for teenager in Kings Lynn - 8 hours per week (during school holidays) @ £12.89 p/h - King's Lynn - PE30
Job Reference (3ca34f05)
Job Purpose:
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support a young man with ADHD and Autism to become more independent and confident in his day-to-day life. This role involves supporting him to get out and about, enjoy activities, and feel more comfortable spending time away from his mum, who he currently relies on when going out.
You will support him to access activities both locally and further afield, including accompanying him to meet his friends in Peterborough, as well as helping him attend local social groups and build friendships closer to home. He enjoys bowling, playing football, watching banger racing, and spending time on his Xbox, so someone with similar interests who can engage with him and make activities enjoyable would be ideal.
The right person will be patient, understanding, and able to gently encourage him to try new things, build confidence, and feel at ease in social situations. Experience of supporting young people with Autism would be beneficial, but most importantly, we are looking for someone kind, reliable, and motivated.
If you are genuinely interested in making a positive difference in someone's life, we would love to hear from you.
